Well that's fine, but you have the 20th pick and the Titans have #2, so Ruston gets who Ruston wants unless Tampa Bay ruins the plan. You don't really have any power here. Philly probably won't have a shot at any of the top three unless they mortgage the future, and they might. My personal bet is that 3 QBs will certainly go in the top 13: Tampa, Tennessee, Washington, Chicago, St. Louis, Cleveland.

Foles already but signed with the Rams...he will certainly garner a sixth round pick which Philly will give along with the 20th pick to the raiders....doy! Hundley will be a SB MVP. He'll start off his career in Philly then leave to Dallas and win 3 SBs. Including a SB MVP.

Are you drunk? 2 < 4. Do all that and you still can't get whichever QB you want.
More importantly, if you want to move from 20 to 4 you would need 1.20, and second a third, and a 2015 1st. A 6th round pick is worth less than 1% of the #4 pick. Wherever you read that should go out of business.

I did a mock a while ago that balanced the numbers with Nick Foles, but only because I put Foles at a low first/high second round value. Oakland gets: 1.16 1.20, 3.19 from the Eagles Houston gets: Nick Foles, 2015 4th from the eagles. Philly Gets 1.4 That's IF the Texans want Foles, and their coach just said they're okay with the guys on the roster

Yes I know it is seemingly impossible for Philly to move up that far.

With talks of the Colts extending Andrew Luck to the tune of a 25 million dollar cap extension, that's about an 18 million dollar hit towards the cap in 2015 above what the Colts are already paying. That brings down Indy's reserves dramatically, from a daunting 32 million to a roughly-average 14 million, which is maybe not enough to even resign their key free agents (freeman, bradshaw, wayne, nicks, redding), before even considering rooks and outside additions in free agency. At first, the idea that the Colts had nearly as much space as Tennessee did in the division was a scary idea since they so thoroughly outplayed us, but it looks like extending "the weirdo with the beardo" is going to complicate things for their already thin roster, which is of course good news for us. The Colts only sensible moves to generate space would be cutting Greg Toler or Shaun Phillips (about 8 million total in savings), but they are hamstrung with some awful contracts as well in Ricky Jean Francois, Trent Richardson and D'qwell jackson, none of whom can be cut for much savings do to poor restructuring last year.
Houston is in a better situation, but not my much. They have a below average 10 mil in space, but they have only three significant free agents in Kareem Jackson, Brooks reed, and Daniel Manning, all of whom the Texans could do without. Cutting Ryan Fitzpatrick could practically pay all three of those contracts at their current rates, although they might not be able to cut the rusty rifle due to a non-situation at QB. Long term, the Texans are screwed because they have monster investments in the defense and the offensive line, including several bad restructures on players who likely won't warrant a roster spot in a few years. This means that when the Texans eventually need to pay a quarterback (something they aren't doing right now), they're screwed.
Jacksonville has cap space to the moon due to the lack of talent up and down the roster. They lead the league with 62.5 mil in free room. The Jags don't have many big names, but they will need to overpay for Geno Hayes (all afc-south), as well as Cecil Shorts, Alan Ball and Ryan Davis (unless they want to draft Leonard Williams). The Jags don't NEED to cut anyone on the roster, but if they want to go on an Oakland-esque spending spree, they could make BANK by cutting Chad Henne, Toby Gerhart, Mercedes Lewis and Roy Miller. Those moves alone would make 16.5 million in savings.
Lastly, Tennessee is in great shape in terms of contracts. The Titans have a monstrous 42.5 mil after cutting Michael Oher. Tennessee will probably make about 10.5 million more when they cut Whitehurst, Greene, Woods, Pollard and Stevens. They do have a lot of money to pay out if they want to keep their own free agents, especially derrick morgan who could demand up to 10 million after his back to back great seasons. Michael Roos is also the top offensive tackle free agent even at 32, he'll get at least 6 mil in 2015, plus we need a kicker and a punter, and every Titans fan wants Nate Washington back, which might cost a few more than he's worth.

He was a bottom five RT in the league last season, and bottom five the season before with Baltimore. When he got hurt this year, our line play on the right side dramatically improved. It was the worst free agent singing I can remember that the Titans ever executed.
