Demarco Murray is getting linked to the Titans already as his return to Dallas is looking extremely unlikely.
Would the Titans pay up to $7 million in 2015 for a runningback when Bishop Sankey, Dexter McCluster, Shonn Greene and two potentially great rookies are on the roster next year?
Well, I think it could happen. Leon Washington is gone if this happens, and so are Lache Seastrunk and Shonn Greene. That would leave McCluster as the receiving back, along with Sankey, who can catch out of the backfield and stay healthy behind Murray. This combination works because Sankey costs almost nothing which offsets the high cost of Murray and he would spell Murray to offset the 392 times Demarco touched the football last year.
The biggest problem, as usual, is Ken Whisenhunt. Coach Ken has insisted that the Titans are going to be a runningback by committee team. That won't fly with Demarco Murray, and if it's true, the owner and GM won't be willing to pay several million per year for a committee backfield, no matter how talented.

Darelle Revis' cap number is an unprecedented 25 million next season. The Pats can't afford that, so Revis will hit the market. I doubt the Titans would buy Revis, we really need a #2 corner more than a #1.
This benefits us because Revis will be so high above the likes of Walter Thurmond and Chris Harris Jr, that if the Titans want to buy a superstar to play alongside JMAC, the prices will probably be lower.

Well we actually can afford it, we just couldnt afford to bring back Mccourty and Solder with that number. I guarantee Revis signs an extension here, mark my words. Expect a 3 year deal with a fake 4th year option much like this current "2 year deal". Pats will have no problem paying him an annual salary of 16 million, its just a matter of how it is structured.

The Pats take a 12.5 million dollar guaranteed hit if that extension or a cut doesn't happen before March 1st.
You think a "3" year deal gets done in 6 weeks with the best player negotiator in football? I don't. I think Revis will take the money some where else. 18-20 million next year after coming off maybe his best year yet.

I guarantee the Pats have been talking with Revis all season. Revis is a smart business man, but winning is clearly important to him. He will be back here next season guaranteed. Here is a great in depth article regarding possible Revis extensions: www.patsfans.com/salary-cap/?p=1039

I know you didn't say this, but he won't take a discount to play in New England. If he thinks he can get more next year somewhere els, that pretty much trumps anything the Pats can throw his way. Jacksonville has the most cap of any team, ever.

Jacksonville has the most cap of any team, ever. Contracts can be structured in different ways so I really am not worried on this one. He is getting paid an annual average of 16 million on this contract, but it is only a 7 million dollar cap hit this year. We have a lot of cap flexibility at the moment so a lot of ways to get this one done.

7? Do you mean 25? Because that's what it is.
