Quoting ESPN makes you look uncouth. I'm not sure you know what you're talking about. Heyward lead the team in sacks as a 3-4 TWO GAP DE. Those guys typically don't get to the QB, Look over Keisel's career, he didn't hit that Mark all too often and he was a very good DE. Heyward is the team's best defender and deserves the money as he is the anchor of the D and is only getting better, as well as making a bigger impact to the casual fans as Butler is going to have the DL playing more aggressive with more one gap. Heyward was a top 10 DE last year, calling him an average player while likely not comparing him to 2 gap DEs is lazy.
