There are NFL teams that would have offered him 8 Mil a year. Money isn't the reason he's coming to Michigan. The fact is that Harbaugh has more love for his alma mater than he does the NFL. His style works better with 18-22 year olds than it does with all the egos in am NFL locker room As may be Chippers fate in Philly.

Why didn't you replace Philbin! Because Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is a Michigan alumni, and the University's biggest booster. He publicly stated he prefers Harbaugh at Michigan rather than the Dolphins. *facepalm* The Dolphins will never be good under Ross. He has to be in the top 5 dumbest owners in the NFL right now.

He still won't be able to out recruit Meyer and Helfrich. Shh Physical teams with good skill players are Meyer's kryptonite. That's how Saban ran Meyer out of the SEC. It's how Harbaugh will do the same thing at Michigan. Shh

Nothing stupid about Ross wanting Harbaugh at his alma mater. Besides, firing Philbin could severely hurt Tannehill's development, who has showed a lot of growth under Philbin. I don't see Philbin as a bad HC. I think Miami could very well be a wild card team next year.

k does the B10 East really need anymore top tier coaches? Harbaugh, Meyer, Dantonio, Franklin. B1GEast is about to be a great division in a couple of years.

I've been very disappointed in Hack's development this year.. Yeah I'm not sure what's up with Hack. He's still pretty young though, still has half his college career left. Plenty of time to turn it around. And having another off-season with Franklin should help development. I know PSU's defensive staff is beast though. But the offense needs to get going.

And Hack just seemed to lose some focus since O'Brien left. Can't say I'd confuse Franklin with an offensive mastermind or anything like that, the idiotic wildcat runs with Zwinak is proof of that. But damn can he recruit!
