The list is not to call any of them Top 10 QBs (although obviously a few of them are), but it is that they are playing at a high level.
Which brings it to Eli. He has not been bad. He has made a lot of good throws. Eli has dealt with 7 dropped passes this year, 2nd most in the league, and his throw-time is one of the lowest in the league. When the OL blocks him, he is still capable of being one of the better QBs in the league.
Figured this was interesting to note, especially considering many people here most likely feel that Eli is a weak link of the team.

Peyton Manning has been virtually perfect this season. To not even have him in the top 10 is laughable, regardless of the metrics used to get this list. So Ryan Fitzpatrick is on the list, presumably because he managed the games well and Houston is 2-0 (against Washington and Oakland, but let's not mention that), but then Drew Brees is 4th while he's 0-2. If wins don't matter, than how is Fitz here? If they do, then how the fuck is Brees #4? I just don't understand this list at all.

Again, the list is not calling them the best QBs in the league, but they playing their position at a high level. And regarding Peyton, I recall him having a good amount of shaky passes through the first two weeks of play, and PFF goes on a snap-to-snap basis. Fitzpatrick has not done anything wrong thus far this year. He has not hindered the team. Same goes for Tannehill, Davis, and, why this thread was created, Eli.

Wins don't matter, it's the best QBs so far this season from an analytic perspective. (I do agree Peyton Manning should be here though) Fitzpatrick hasn't made any mistakes. No turnovers at all through two weeks, and he's sitting at a very respectable 68.3 comp % right now.

The TOP was very imbalanced in the KC game. If Peyton had the ball more, you wouldn't have held him to 3 points in the 2nd half. Not to mention all the dropped passes in both games he's played so far.

I would challenge PFF to go throw Peyton's film snap-by-snap and not give him a better grade over the last two games than Eli or Austin Davis or Ryan Fitzpatrick. And apparently they did that and got to the conclusion that he's been barely above average. Despite the fact that he's carried his team to two wins by being asked to get his team ahead, and then keep throwing and building the lead because they can't run the ball. Peyton is 38 and he's been asked to throw 62 balls in the first two games. And doing that, he's got a better rating and QBR than he had over the course of his entire record breaking season. Peyton completed 80% of his throws against the Chiefs last week. EIGHTY PERCENT that's unheard of and impossible to maintain in the NFL. That's comperable to batter hitting .450 or Ray Allen hitting 91% from the line. It's absurd. And although I agree it's possible that he can do these things and still not blow PFF numbers out of the water, saying he's not even +3.1 is a joke. Please, explain to me how Austin Davis has done those things in St. Louis, where he got blown out the first week and barely played week 2. Please justify him being at least 6 spots ahead of the guy I described here. You can't.
