You'd think that would be bizarre enough as just 1 course. I'd love to see the curriculum for that one. I know. It's hilarious. But it's probably the easiest degree to pass (with lots of help from the athletic dept academic staff). What's even more funny is that most of the football players who select this degree probably never saw a cow in their life before coming to Wisconsin. LOL LOL LOL From UW website here--- Agricultural journalists communicate natural, environmental, and agricultural sciences to society. The field of agricultural communication continues to grow as the need to interpret science to various audiences increases. Appropriately trained people may find work with newspapers; radio and television stations; government, rural, and environmental organizations; educational institutions; and businesses buying or selling to the rural market. All students majoring in agricultural journalism must complete the following: Agricultural News Writing (Ag Journ 111); and Publicity, Media and Methods (Ag Journ 515). In addition, students select an area of concentration (print, broadcast, advertising, nonspecialization) in which they take an additional 11 or 12 credits selected from one of the course lists below-- Broadcasting Ag Journ 204 Reporting Ag Journ 360 Farm and Home Radio Broadcasting Journ 352 Television News Ag Journ 260 or 365 or Com Arts 355 or Journ 351 or Theatre and Drama 240 Advertising Ag Journ 204 Reporting or 320 or 505 Ag Journ 431 Agricultural Advertising or Journ 246 Principles of Advertising Journ 450 Advertising Copy and Layout or Journ 525 or Bus 523 Ag Journ 459 Advertising Media Print Media Ag Journ Courses 204 Reporting 320 Advanced Ag Writing 505 Publications Editing 530 Publications Illustration and Layout or Ag Journ 260 Photography or 365 Photography or Journ 207 Graphics and Visual Communications or Journ 340 Photojournalism General Ag Journ Courses 320 Advanced Ag Writing 360 Farm and Home Radio Broadcasting 505 Publications Editing or 431 Agricultural Advertising or 204 or 260 or 365 or 530

Miss Lacy - "Never seen a cow before" lol Well, this one is the best - Ag Journ 360 Farm and Home Radio Broadcasting. Gotta wonder what kinda jobs exist that pay anything that would find this useful. A 2 minute segment on a local rural station maybe. Don't get me wrong, I can see in the local economy, this is very important stuff. Gotta be somewhere to gain that kinda expertise. Guessing if it's often done as a double major by the people that are more serious about a future in it. Like with that Dairy or Poultry Science. hehe
