I stupidly posted this in another thread, so I just deleted that and made this its own thread since it was off topic.

I just found the entire list of Kenny Britt's misconduct. It proves that the smear campaign against him was nonsense. I'm not saying that he isn't an idiot, but he never had one serious charge against him and the lack of evidence or negatives impacts of his "run ins with the police" is astounding. (they were described that way because nothing really happened. I had a "run in" with a cop at a dunkin donuts).
#1 December 2011: Attended a party in New Jersey on Christmas Eve (at his house) and was found with a marijuana cigarette. Cited for possession, the court did not take the case since the police were responding to a noise complatin
#2 June 2011: Questioned by police due to allegedly having a false statement on his drivers license. Case dismissed on a lack of evidence.
#3 June 2011: "careless driving". Although reports were not released, careless driving is about three cases below reckless driving. He was not disciplined by police.
#4 May 2011: Marijuana possession. Kenny Britt was found a block from his house with an unconfirmed marijuana cigarette. The amount is unknown because the case was dropped.
#5 April 2011: Careless driving. Britt evaded a police officer after a speeding ticket. This was no car chase. Britt was speeding and attempted to hide by pulling into a dirt road in New Jersey. This is THE most legitimate offense he committed, and it's his only arrest. He was given a $471 fine. That's basically an expensive speeding ticket. He plead guilty and cooperated with authorities.
#6 January 2011: Criminal complaint filed against Britt for aledgedly failing to pay a bail bond company after bailing a friend out of jail. The problem? He did pay it. The case was dismissed, but it's still counted as a "run in with the police". Media + black guy + court case = he's guilty of something. Hell, it's not even racial, any NFL player gets that treatment usually. Notice how all these cases seem to be typical "driving while black" situations though?
#7 August 2010: Misdemeanor citation for driving on a revoked license. Britt co-operated and filed paperwork to get his licence and nothing came of it. Apparently that's a "run in with the cops".
#8 January 2010: Cited in court for two unpaid traffic tickets from previous trips to the state of Kentucky. He paid the fines. This is not a run in with the cops.
Ladies and gentlemen there you have it. Those are the "run ins with the cops" that are allegedly the reason Britt failed in the NFL was not offered a contract from the Titans this offseason? The real reason for him leaving? He was targeted 19 times in the endzone in 2012 and 2013. He caught two TDs and dropped six passes. He has four fumbles lost over that span as a WR to only 7 TDs. He hasn't caught 50 balls since his rookie year, drops most passes that hit him, lacks effort, and doesn't get good separation. He's a bad football player. The Titans dealt with Vince Young and Pacman Jones for years. They can deal with a guy who's a bad driver and like some pot, but passes his drug tests.
Conclusion: Is Kenny Britt stupid and irresponsible? Yes. Is he a criminal or a thug? No. Was he portrayed that way by the media? Very much so. Is he an NFL quality wide receiver? Absolutely not.
