Morkim Figured I would respond to some of your comments. I think Randle is progressing just fine. What hindered him most was the offensive scheme of Gilbride. KG runs a lot of option plays, and a young guy like Randle should not be doing all of that stuff this early in his career. Randle is a talented guy and the McAdoo offense should showcase RR's potential. With the Richburg thing, I do not think he was drafted high. But when you look at the draft and see the next best centers go later it has you wondering if you could have gotten someone else at 43 and maybe get one of the centers at 74. But again, would not call him a reach when he was taken. Most of what I saw from Randle were mental errors. He had a ton of mental breakdowns. That's on(In order) Him, Coaching staff, Eli/Cruz etc. I've no doubt he'll do better this year. Better OC, another off season, he'll take a step up. I'm just hoping OBJ doesn't have a laundry list of mental breakdowns his rookie season, but I see it as a real possibility. Yeah, like I said on Richburg. I'd give it a B+. He's a very good player, good pick, but there's always that what if I could have got him next round. There were some really good players in that second round. But I can't fault the Giants for plugging a hole with a very good player. Solid draft overall.

MorkimI think the mental errors are a direct result of putting too much on his plate in terms of what to do and when. The McAdoo offense is focused on fundamentals, so I do not see Beckham having any problems, personally.

Beckham's just really hard to judge for me. On one hand, I see the potential and I understand that in the draft he would have not lasted much longer at all if NYG didn't take him at 12, so they made the best decision possible in terms of selecting a WR and getting good value. On the other hand, the lack of production in college scares me, and makes me a hesitant/concerned about him in the NFL. I get that Beckham has boatloads of potential and can still get a lot better, but he is already considered a well rounded WR (polished route runner, soft hands).. He does have mental lapses though, or at least he did at LSU. Hands are not an issue, he's made some insane catches at LSU, but he also drops the routine ball every now and again. That is cause for concern, because it can be hard to correct mental issues. It isn't like you can just reach into the brain and fix it. I give the pick a B, solely because of my own personal concerns for Beckham. If he corrects his mental issues though, the pick instantly turns into an A.
I agree with everything you said on Richburg in the OP. Not really much I can add on to. It's an A pick.
Bromley seems like a decent player, but like you said, there were definitely players still on the board that probably should have been picked. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 on picks like these, because I remember originally being mad when we selected Akiem Hicks back in 2012. It turned out to be a great pick though, but at the time, it was the same situation with Bromley. Hicks was viewed as a good player, but there were "better" players still available at the time Hicks was chosen. The Bromley selection could turn into a A or B if he becomes a good player and earns his 3rd round grade, or it could turn out to be an F if he flops, while some other players selected behind him turn out well. I'll go in the middle and give the pick a C.
I really like Williams. He's got concerns about how much tread is on his tires, as well as receiving the ball, but he's a player who can make an immediate impact. Him and Jennings will make a really good tandem. B
I agree with you on Berhe not being undersized even though that's a supposed knock on him. I don't know a lot about Berhe, but I literally just read a couple scouting reports on him and he seems to be very versatile who doesn't have a huge strength, but also doesn't have a huge weakness in his game. If that's the case he could honestly be a starter this year since Will Hill is a moron. Anytime you land a starter in the fifth round, it has to be an A..
Kennard seems like a potential pick. One of the best players coming out of high school but was plagued by injury issues in college. Pretty much the same deal as Ronald Powell. I'm giving this a B, because it's not a sure thing Kennard turns into a good player, but if he does, watch out. Even if he doesn't though, it's only a fifth round pick so not a lot lost there.
Jackson pick is interesting. Giants already have great depth within the secondary. I don't really see him getting any time at CB given that. Jackson could contribute on special teams though. C
I switched to a B, btw

The pick I hate the most(which means I'm jealous and afraid) is the Andre Williams pick. Dude is a better character version of Lagarrette Blount. I'm so pissed we traded our big back(Bryce Brown). Idiocy IMO.

plax- I think you all got yourself a good Wr in Beckham. I was kinda hoping the Eagles would have gotten him if they stayed put and chose a Wr in the 22nd spot.

A-, specifically. If they'd gotten a high ranked in line tight end, I'd say A.
