I like the choice of Taylor Lewan in the 1st round. Youth to replace age in Roos ultimately. Loving that we traded back in the 2nd to still grab an explosive RB in Bishop Sankey AND we get another 4th round pick in the deal. Sankey could be our Andre Ellington/Giovanni Bernard to supplement the power of Shonn Greene who will hopefully do the dogs work of grinding out yards and keep the chain moving. Wanna see a QB drafted somewhere in the 4th to work under Locker until Locker gets injured again and a CB would be nice too.
What thinks you?

I'll give them a B at first glance. Not sure exactly where the 3rd round went, was that in this deal for their 4th? That would make sense. I take it that they had lost their 2nd round pick long ago, like last year, right? For who? Was not CJ. Anyway... I think they got good value with their picks. Not really great value at RB, they were desperate for a RB, and had to bit the bullet. So they got their guy, I like it that they started the run. Just not sure he was the best choice. There were a few guys that were rated higher, expected to go earlier. On reading up, I think they may have been overvalued. TBH, I never watch college football, so all I know is from Combine and commentary. That said, I think you have a 'complete' back in Sankey. Lewan also a solid 'blue chip' pick. I think they need to grab a QB next. Seem to be 2 or decent ones left. Maybe they get McCarron. Someone could probably tell you better than me why he's slipped this far. EDIT: Guess we should get Juggs in on it.

Dive we lost our third for Justin Hunter last year when we traded up in the second. Worth it I say considering we snagged a forth along with Sankey. Speaking of which, I give the Titans pick an A+. That's crazy value on the drafts best runningback who's going to put up a monster rookie season. We're going to be looking back on this draft and wondering why nobody took a runningback in the first round. That's where Sankey belonged.
Lewan I like, but I give that pick a B. I say a B- for Marqueston Huff. I'm working on grading every pick and I'll post all the reasons and grades soon.

Can anybody fill me in about Zettenberg (is that his name? ) the QB we drafted in the 6th/7th round? Hearing lots of bad stuff about this kid, how he's returning from an ACL injury and how he was found doing drugs fairly recently. If this is the case then why did the Titans, who desperately needed another QB to place pressure on Locker OR to step in when he gets injured again...which he will cos he always gets injured, draft this guy and not another prospect from the draft. Was it in desperation cos they knew they needed to draft a QB and he was all that was left? Personally I cannot understand why we drafted a safety in the 4th round when THAT WAS THE POINT we should have taken a QB. I felt like we bgan the draft well and then we kinda went downhill a bit. Not sure we needed an ILB too when we needed depth at CB. CB and QB were 2 positions of need and I feel we never addressed them. Here's hoping the coaching staff know what the hell they are doing

Here's hoping the coaching staff know what the hell they are doing Zach Mettenberger, QB from LSU. He is potentially a really good player. The strongest arm in the draft, and he made improvements in accuracy every year in college. He is a bit of a statue, but he can be deadly if the OL protecting him is a good one. (and Tennessee definitely has a good OL)

Yeah, he was one of the 2 good QBs I thought were left. Was wondering how he fell that far myself, guess you answered both our question with the ACL and drug issues. Naturally other teams were aware as well. Still, the Titans gambled waiting that long IMO, what would've happened had he been taken? Anyway, if he can sit for awhile AND they get his head in line, they could wind up with a huge bargain. IDK how much the Titans mgmt has changed the last 2 years, but the BS they put up with from Kenny Britt alone tells me they are not the ideal landing spot for anyone 'troubled'.

I think Whisenhunt is a huge step up from Mike Munchak with regards overseeing a team, getting them playing how he wants and ultimately making us competitive again. I see us being a top 5 running team this season with the Greene/Sankey combo. I see HUGE upside in Kendall Wright and Hunter as our main WRs with Washington in the mix too. Delaney Walker did well last season and adds some play making ability but the biggest plus is that we have a top class OL that is (hopefully) gonna open holes for the RBs and give Locker time to pick his passes when we need him to.
Biggest problemo is on defence, can we play well enough to keep games close and win close games this season? I think we can. It's a tough start to the season but I think we can be a 9-7-0/10-6-0 team if Locker stays fit.......IF!!!!!
