Pirates beat the Cubs 7-6 on a Sacrifice Fly in the 8th Inning. Pirates are now 5-2 to start the season and tied with Milwaukee for the Division lead.

I am enjoying watching Toronto be a good team so far this year! Lots of talent on the roster even while missing Reyes. They aren't being intimidated by any teams and I think they have learned from their mistakes last year.
If we can avoid injuries and our hitting remains decently consistent I can see us making a run for the AL east.
Also nice to see Baltimore spank the Yankees today! Baltimore are my Dad and Eldest brothers favorite team as well as I got to watch them live a few years ago so I have a slight soft spot for them. Really wish they were in another division!
AL East is always tough though.. 5 teams that have a chance at the playoffs this year.. Its gonna be a dog fight, I hope Toronto can hang in there!

Padres are taking it to the Tigers and their big fat payroll. Gonna win two of three. And we held their bats down real good. Our pitching and defense are good, our offense is even coming around. Go San Diego, lets win something.
Cashner one hit them the other night, oh so close to our only no hitter. A soft single in the sixth.

what is that beast? You bet on them getting a hit each day? Yeah man. This game is awesome. I've been playing it for three years now off and on at MLB.com.
mlb.mlb.com/mlb/fantasy/bts/y2014/
All you do is pick 1 or 2 batters each day based on whether you think they'll get a hit or not. Whoever you pick just has to get at least one hit for that day. The goal is to get 57 hits consecutively without having one mess up. I got to 12 last year.
