And I should mention.. I didn't follow Arsenal closely when I posted in that support thread, but I do now. This is my first season following Arsenal game to game. Really enjoying it so far.

Thanks .Spot on mate.Yes a lifelong one.Loads of ups and downs just like the Bears. There are a lot of Gunners fans here! Seems like any who follows the EPL at all on this site cheers for them... nflfanforums.proboards.com/thread/1752/supportThe last two games I watched they had late game heroics... one where Ramsey potted the winner in extra time and the other where they were down by 2 and Ramsey and Giroud both scored very late to tie it up. I don't know if my nerves could take it if that is how every game went for them this year. Yes we are playing badly but getting points which is good.Alexis isn't match fit yet and nor are our German World Cup winners and when they are we should improve.Plus Walcott back in a few weeks and that'll give Özil a chance to pass the ball forwards and not just sideways.Ramsey is our best player at the moment and playing superb.Chambers will be good in the future to.Need to concentrate more defensively as a team though as letting players getting runs on our defence without the midfielders tracking them back.Need a good defensive midfielder imo like William Carvalho or Sami Khediera, possibly a speedy striker to though Joel Campbell may be able to do that or possibly Walcott who's been tried there before.Weak point in the team is Monreal when he plays as he's ok going forward but his positioning defensively is awful and we get caught out down his side a lot.

I agree Monreal isn't playing well defensively, but that problem should be fixed once Kieran Gibbs returns to full health. I'm also not impressed with Debuchy so far, to be honest. I agree with you on Calum Chambers though, he looks great.

Debuchy has been ok and will be good once settled in.Gibbs rarely is fit for long unfortunately as he is a good player for us.Koscielny is by a distance our best defender and think he could form a great partnership with Chambers though Mertesacker may get in the way of that.Making Arteta captain was a bad move imo as though he's ok ,it means he will start more because of that and I'd place others in the team ahead of him.Mind you,Vermaelen was club captain last season and he was rarely chosen to start.
