Just came from the park across the street from me, as I often do when the weather is nice. Always enjoy feeding the ducks and geese in Pennypack Creek some bread, and especially excited with the new population of wood ducks.
First off, I am deadly accurate. Okay, it's just from maybe 20, 25 yds max - but I almost always get my duck. I'd say my completion percentage is around 75% - not including the roughly 5% I bean in the head. Yeah, there are a lot of INTs and turnovers, but keep in mind the rules rules are different - it's not 'dead bread' once it hits the water, unless the occasional fish gets to it first.
They have no ghost of a passing game whatsoever right now aside from the short game anyway. Steveie Johnson is a little banged up right now, so it's gonna be a handoff or short or slant route to F-Jax or Spiller for BUF - or with Holmes out, slot receiver Kerley or TE Kellen Winslow for the Jets - I believe I could easily handle all that. I realize that I haven't had much experience with defenders, just one homeless person. But with a few drills on my footwork, I should be good to go. And I'll accept half the starting salary, which should be in the neighborhood of a measly $200 - $250K.

I'd be happy to earn 100K per year as a 3rd-string QB.

Very good Bev. I think if you work on your foot work a little you could up your passer rating. But you need a good supporting cast of receiver ducks.
Your thread here made me laugh super hard. Good one. I go feed the ducks sometimes. I will try and calculate my completion percent. So is beaning them in the head a completion or like a dropped pass?

Their parents bring them to play when they're just a few days old, so they come from pedigree. There's one that actually raises himself out of the water a bit on my release, tracks the snack, and catches it on the fly. I call that one Calvin. I don't count the beaners into the mix. But the rules they are a-changing, just like the NFL. Often they recover their own fumble. Sometimes when they don't, they look a little concussed - a testament to my arm strength as well as accuracy.

Divebitch, given your history passing to ducks, I would think the Bills make the most sense as a place for you to land.

Ba dum tsssshhh is right. lol But great point on the Bills. We would have ducks as mascots, many of them. Feeding frenzy before the game. The fans would love it.
