When I say 1/5 I mean his fast paced run first offense. Hes passing the ball way to GD much, especially in the charger game. He has resulted to going away from his bread and butter and its aggravating

I think Vick will start, not play well and Foles will take over. My prediction.

My thoughts on this Weeks game and where were at with the Eagles.
They withstood three games in 11 days followed by three games on the road.
And now six games into the season, the Eagles are in first place in the NFC East at 3-3, with the roughest part of the schedule behind them.
Yesterday’s 31-20 win over the winless Buccaneers and their hapless head coach Greg Schiano, got the Eagles even on the season and sets up a NFC East showdown with the Dallas Cowboys at the Linc next Sunday.
The Eagles, who just two weeks ago were being annihilated by Denver, have won two straight and play just one team with a winning record —Green Bay —in the next five weeks heading into their bye week.
Yesterday’s game was one where the Eagles scored 30 points for the fourth time this year and allowed at least 20 for the sixth time.
Tampa’s 20 points was the least amount the Eagles have allowed this year and the most the Bucs have scored. Before yesterday, Tampa had not allowed more than 23 points in a game and had held three teams to 18,or less, including the Saints.
Here are the rest of the highlights and lowlights from yesterday’s sixth straight game of over 400 yards of offense from the Eagles.
OFFENSIVE HERO: Quarterback Nick Foles, in place of an injured Mike Vick, completed 22 of 31 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown on a quarterback draw. Most importantly ,he did not make a mistake against a very aggressive Tampa Bay defense. OFFENSIVE ZERO: Sorry, local fans and Notre Dame fans, but Bucs wide receiver Tiquan Underwood, starting in place of injured Mike Williams, came up small. Underwood did not catch a pass on four throws his way,was called for an offensive pass interference penalty and failed to finish a route that led to an interception.
DEFENSIVE HERO: Eagles cornerback Bradley Fletcher played his finest game as an Eagle. Fletcher broke up three passes and recorded his first interception as an Eagle, which led to the team’s go-ahead touchdown
DefenSIVE ZERO: Let’s go with Tampa safety Dashon Goldson. The high-priced free agent from San Francisco was supposed to be the enforcer the Bucs needed in their secondary. Did you see him enforce anything yesterday? He finished with 10 tackles, but all 10 came after gains and he was picked on in coverage.
PLAY OF THE GAME: Foles’47-yard touchdown pass to Riley Cooper showed the QB has a better arm than a lot of us thought. And Cooper, a forgotten man, came up with his first big play of the season (he had another one later). It also put the Eagles ahead to stay at 21-17.
TURNING POINT: Four plays before Cooper’s touchdown, fletcher picked off Mike Glennon on a pass intended for Underwood. Tampa led 17-14 at the time and had moved into Eagles territory at the 38.
STATS THAT: Cooper’s 100-yard game (124 actually) was the first of his career. DeSean Jackson’s two receiving touchdowns was the first time he had more than one in a game. The Eagles became just the third team to start the season with six straight 400-plus yard games. San Diego (1993) and New England (2011) were the other two.
INJURIES: Left tackle Jason Peters left the game with a shoulder injury, but returned. Safety Patrick Chung also re-injured his shoulder and backup running back Chris Polk left with an ankle injury and did not return.
INACTIVES: Surprisingly, the Eagles dressed all three quarterbacks. The players who did not dress were cornerbacks Jordan Poyer and Shaun Prater, tackles Matt Tobin and Dennis Kelly, defensive end Damion Square and tight ends Emil Igwenagu and James Casey, who was bothered by a groin injury.

There were no Offensive or Defensive "Zeros" for the Eagles? I thought you would tell me people who didn't play as well Foles was great, man. He might be the guy you need. The defense still has to improve, though.

The defense still has to improve, though. Who would you put as a Zero for the Eagles Plax? The Dbacks as a whole played pretty shitty as usual, but good enough against a piss poor offense. Trent Cole again was a no show for the 5th straight week. On offense? Don't think anyone had a bad game. I'm so intrigued about who Chip will start against Dallas. And as bias as I can be at times..I just don't see the Eagles keeping pace with Dallas. But who knows. I do know that the Eagles have not won a game in Philadelphia since LAST October! !!! 8 Straight. Fuck

Riley Cooper is not a 'forgotten man', even if you mean in just the sense of his bigoted incident. He was a 4th WR last year with Maclin healthy. I wouldn't get too excited about us (yes, you know I'm an Eagles fan) about beating a decent defense with a brand new IFFY QB. I totally agree with you, I don't see them keeping pave with Dallas.
And FTR, Dallas is #1, not the Eagles, although both 3-3 and same W-L record in their division. Gotta give the Cowboys the hugest amount of credit for what they did with the Broncos. Didn't post in that that thread, but this was not Romo's fault. Someone had to win, and someone had to lose. They were toe to toe. I was seriously scared for my Broncos seeing that, no lie. With Champ Bailey back right after and Von Miller returning, hoping it was just a bad, untimely apparition.
My prediction, DAL takes the div, Eagles don't get a wild card - sure hope I'm wrong, just being honest. Let's not crown Foles a hero just this yet by virtue of not making a bad mistake 1 game. We've seen how new QBs can look great but DEFs figure them out sooner than later (Fitzpatrick comes to mind, IDK why).
