So far the first round of the NHL draft is almost over, I don't know much about any of the players.. I can say that I like the looks of the guy Toronto drafted.
However in bigger news that Canucks traded Corey Schneider to the New Jersey Devils for their 9th overall pick.. This just in the Canucks GM is officially a moron!

I'm surprised with all the left wings the lightning picked. Cannot believe they turned down Seth in the first round. Lighting defense sucks and he would have been a nice fit. But on a good note vinnie is gone and that gives the lightning another 8 mill of cap to search the F/A market.

I was also surprised to see Jones fall to #4 (was hoping he'd fall all the way to 21 ) So how come Vinnie leaving is a good note? I thought he has been a pretty solid player throughout his career? Also Toronto traded their 2nd round, 4th round and 2014 4th round pick to Chicago for Dave Bolland! I feel like its a bit much but still he is a very good player and the leafs really needed another good center, plus its always nice to see teams pick up home town boys!

Vinnie hasn't played well for awhile now. He's very lazy and a waste of talent IMO. Nobody here in Tampa wants him to stay. Ever since his fights with torts he hasn't been the same player.
Good pick up for the leafs but yeah that's pretty expensive.
