72 hours after bringing in Dwight Freeney to ease the blow of Melvin Ingram's ACL tear, the Chargers have agreed to terms with former Pittsburgh Steelers LT, Max Starks. Starks projects as a starting LT for the San Diego Chargers, which moves FA acquisition King Dunlap to a back-up role. Was he the left tackle last year? I just caught the end of a report on the radio and someone said he was mainly a right tackle. Tell me thats not true.
If you're excited about it Sirshock, then I'm excited. I respect your opinion.

I'm sorry but you had a decent LT, his name was Ladainian Tomlinson.

When Marvel Smith was on the team, he was RT (admittedly, he lost his job to Colon in 07), but then he was moved to LT and has played pretty well for the Steelers. You guys got a good player, but you should only consider him a stop-gap as his athleticism has greatly diminished since his knee injury that happened before the 2011 season. His experience will act like duct tape for your OL for 2013, but you need to find a future LT in next year's Draft.

We had to do something and I think this was our best option. Thanks COC It's kind of like Freeney also. Telesco and McCoy are said to know we need to rebuild, but still want to win now. I hope they can do it. So far things are looking up.
