ill be honest and say i was very disappointed in the bears draft IMO. but first the positives
getting a 3rd or 2nd round grade LB in greene will work out well as i think he has what it takes to start. and the cornelius washington pick in the 6th round was a BIG steal too because some people though he was a 2nd round pick
dont understand the kyle long pick. of all the players drafted in the 1st round this year, long by far IMO was the biggest reach. even more than e.j manuel. i know OT was high in demand, but he doesnt seem like a top 20 pick. the jon bostic pick screams REACH as well. i though greene should of been drafted ahead of him, yet they got him for a lower pick
im scratching my head at these picks right now. but ill be the first to witness if these go right or not in week 1
final grade: C

First two picks were reaches. Got good value in Greene, but I still didn't like their draft.

C-
I don't think they improved significantly at any position, and the draft is full of reaches. The only pick I liked was Greene

I don't love it,but he is versital lineman, who's very quick with his feet.We need compition, and I think we'll find out who are best OLinemen on are team are with all the compition to earn a starting spot Touché. Competition makes everybody and everything better. I'll use EA sports as an example: Madden and NCAA football are generally looked at as disappointments year in and year out, but EA sports' soccer game, FIFA, always exceeds expectations and is considered a great game. Why? Because competition. They have to compete with Konami, who makes PES (Pro Evolution Soccer).
NFL 2K series was significantly better, that's why I'm constantly depressed by Madden. I think Long is too much of a wasted pick, however. He may pan out, but it's tough to make that call when he played 5 games.
