So everything just magically appeared from a dense mass that just expanded and created the universe? That makes more sense than God creating it? Because science can be explained and demonstrated in labs. The existence of God can't be proven.

Well, I mean there is no proof he exists.. Like Dan said, it's just faith that he is real.. Is there proof that he doesnt exist? Dinosaurs.According to the bible, god created man when he created Earth. Yet, dinosaurs roamed this earth over 200 million years ago... WAY before man even existed. To this day, I have yet to hear anyone give me a logical reason for how it's possible that dinosaurs were on Earth before man existed if man was supposedly created when Earth was. Like MO said, there is not a single shred of evidence that god exists. And like Dan said, god's existence is based solely on faith. Dinosaurs might not be definitive proof that god doesn't exist... but there is a ton of evidence out there, including dinosaurs existence, that discredits the notion that he does. I think there is a lot more than people tend to realize. Most aren't vocal about it. Exactly. Partly because they feel they'll be looked down upon by the ones who are religious and labeled as a bad person. Another reason is they don't really talk about being atheist/agnostic unless they're defending their belief. For example, you see people all the time on facebook posting bible verses and sharing status pertaining to loving god, but you rarely find anyone posting statuses about how they don't believe in god. And I'm mostly like you... walking the line of being an atheist/agnostic. So everything just magically appeared from a dense mass that just expanded and created the universe? That makes more sense than God creating it? Technically, didn't your god (I say "your god" only because I don't believe in him) just magically appear from no where and "expand" him/her/itself to create Earth and everything on it? It's really no different than the big bang theory, if you really think about it...

So everything just magically appeared from a dense mass that just expanded and created the universe? That makes more sense than God creating it? It makes AS much sense and can be explained. The Christian account of God cannot. Where did God come from?

The Christian account of God cannot. Where did God come from? We don't know. He was just there... But I see what you and bigD are saying that I can't say "so it just magically expanded..." when God was just "there". It can't be explained. It is 100% theory that scientists put together because they wanted to figure out their existence and prove it. And they know they can't prove the existence of God so they don't believe in Him. So they came up with the Big Bang to try and disprove Him.

Yet, dinosaurs roamed this earth over 200 million years ago... Please don't tell me you're going to try and deny the fact that dinosaurs existed...

Do you think it will ever be scientifically proven? And if it does, what happens to religions? What happens to the world?

Please don't tell me you're going to try and deny the fact that dinosaurs existed... They existed. Just not NEARLY that long ago.
