He didn't really do a ton today. (sorry panther ) LOL Sorry, but that pass at the end was a bad pass and the TDs he didn't do a ton (the first one was good by him).

He played good, don't get me wrong, but he wasn't the difference maker.

He didn't really do a ton today. He threw for 369 yards and and 3 touchdowns. I think he did quite a bit. I'm not trying to take anything away from Ryan, I'm really not. I've always thought he was a good QB and I've never said otherwise. But... You have to take into account the 3 passes that resulted in 168 of his 369 yards and 2 of his 3 TD passes had more to do with our defense than his offense. 1. The first TD pass to White (49 yards) where White was left all alone with FS Nakamura (Why?) who clearly misjudged where the ball was going. Why that was the case, I don't know... but being left alone with Nakamura is a guaranteed TD, regardless of who the QB or WR is. That was more on our horrible defensive playcalling. 2. The semi-shovel TD pass to Turner (60 yards) that Turner caught behind the line of scrimmage and proceeded to take it up the middle of the field, untouched. HOW the FUCK does a RB take a -2 yard pass 60 yards down the MIDDLE of the field UNTOUCHED?! That play speaks for itself. Again... more on our horrible defense. 3. The huge pass to White at the end (59 yards) where White was left covered by Nakamura (WHY?!?!) and Josh Norman. Norman was beat, but FUCKING NAKAMURA thought it would be best to turn around and start strafing SEVEN YARDS before the ball even got to them (GENIUS!!), which resulted in Nakamura falling back prematurely and taking himself out of reach of knocking the ball away. Yet again... more on our horrible defense. Like I said, I'm not trying to take anything away from Ryan and this isn't sour grapes. But clearly, Nakamura and McDermott deserve a liiiiittle credit for a good amount of Ryan and White's success today. Nevertheless, it was a great game and you guys are the real deal this year. Maybe this will be the year you finally get that playoff win. God knows you're going to run away with the division, that's for sure.

A lot of QBs wouldn't have thrown that pass from the 1 yard line. They'd have protected their own stats and dumped the ball down for a small gain. It was a big factor in the outcome and it needed to be done. Palmer and Romo wouldn't have come away with the win.

Not sure if I can call Matt Ryan this just yet, but I think that only an elite QB could have marched down the field from the one yard-line in less than a minute for a field goal.
