I am not going to sit and call Flacco elite, but he is in the same exact class as Roethlisberger imo. Thank you Patsk Both are damn good in the clutch. Exactly, great when they need to be great and still good qb's when they dont.

Flaccos never been mistaken for noodle arm. Im id be picken em apart as well if my rival team won the superbowl Maybe noodle arm was not the best word to use. Is he a good qb? Yes I have no problem with the Ravens in fact I'm glad to see they won and for Ray Lewis to go out on top. The Ravens took a big gamble by not getting a deal done with Joe Flacco, and their worst nightmare came true in the playoffs, after what he did they knew it was going to cost them some money to sign him. He got paid like an "Elite" QB but the fact is he is not , if Flacco is worth that amount what do you think A.Rodgers is going to get???

Ravens Sign S/CB Mike Huff from the Raiders. Hes 30 and has declined a bit these last couple of years but he is a still a good versatile player. Dream Team 2.0

They must be dreaming if they think McClain is anything more than a 3rd stringer. I'm laughing so hard at ravens fans right now claiming he'll rise up and be a dominant force... Most delusional fan base goes to the Ravens now for sure... Every time they have an article it's so out of whack.

Probably a liability in pass coverage. I think he would be a solid player at this point if he was drafted by a 3-4 team with consistant coaching, but it is probably to late for him to be a great player. I still believe he could be a solid run defender in a 3-4, assuming they have another good lb next to him.

There is little doubt in my mind he'll wash out or be a depth pick up. If they think he's going to be able to do what Lewis did last year, even with how much he faded, they got another thing coming. He's also no leader.

McClain is a 3-4 ILB. He excelled there at Alabama. The Raiders have had him at an unnatural position his whole career.
I think he will excell with the Ravens unfortuanately.
I wish the Steelers had signed him.
But the Ravens replace one criminal LB with another...

He's also no leader. I guess we will have to wait and see. Personally when Oakland drafted him I thought they were going to run a 3-4 defense. They had a lot more 3-4 guys than 4-3 guys at the time. I think a change of scenery will be a good thing for him. Now obviously there are the off the field issues, and the leadership issues, but he will have a better chance to overcome that in Baltimore, than in Oakland. Now to be honest the only thing Lewis had going for him last year was the leadership. Other than that he was a decent run defender, and a major liability in the passing game.
