And Im not at all pleased that only the people of Charlotte are going to be paying this tax to renovate BOAS. I think its bullshit the rest of NC doesn't have to. Or our little neighbors to the south...

Or our little neighbors to the south... Charlotte is the only city that reaps the financial benefits of hosting the team. Therefor, the city should be the only city responsible for helping out with renovations.

State and County get money from taxes, etc. Plus Fort Mill sees a lot more people on game days than non-game days. Same for Indian Land, Pineville, Matthews, Concord. They generate a lot more in sales of food, hotels, etc. I now for a fact that most hotels in Rock Hill are near capacity on game weekends and that is not the case in the off-season.

DeAngelo Williams restructured his contract. Free'd up about 3 mil in cap space, I believe, and lowered his salary considerably for the next few years. I'm really impressed how Gettleman was able to handle these horrible contract situations Hurney left behind. Also shows how dedicated those guys were to staying with our team, which is awesome to know.

Drayton Florence was cut.
So Josh Norman and Josh Thomas will be our starting two CBs, with Munnerlyn in the slot.

Well... Godfrey's lost for the year now. I swear, it seems like every year we lose at least one of our best players to a season ending injury within the first 2 or 3 weeks into the season. Honestly, with the way we've looked these past 2 games, I don't see our team ending this season with a good record. Shula's being way too fucking conservative in his playcalling and once again, we give up the lead late in the fourth quarter. Gettleman needs to fire the whole staff and bring in his own guy at the end of the season... something JR should've let him do to begin with. I know it's only 2 weeks into the season, but it doesn't look like things have or will change.
